“Sports, recreation, and active lifestyles are integral to helping youth reach their full potential,” said Gary Goldberg, CEO of SquadLocker. “We created this e-book to help youth sports organizations create their own ‘Return to Play’ playbook that is right for their geography, sport, and circumstances. We expect the tools and resources compiled here, developed by sports and health experts at all levels of competition and government, to lessen the burden in the process of getting youth athletes back to what they love to do.”

The e-book contains a Return to Play checklist, when to return considerations, liability and operating considerations, templates for letters and communications, and helpful links to government agencies, healthcare, media and research, and other organizations. It also includes a template to build your own Return to Play plan, which includes the basic elements: when to return, restrictions, operating adjustments, communication plan, a point person or team responsible for the Return to Play plan, and the ability to monitor outcomes so adjustments can be made.

This e-book was assembled in collaboration with various experts, including Luke Zaientz, CEO of Reigning Champs; Jon Butler, Executive Director, Pop Warner Little Scholars; Keri King, CEO of Triple Play Sports; Brian Litvack, CEO and co-founder of LeagueApps; and Derek Ernst, Chief Commercial Officer at Augusta Sportswear Brands.
