SquadLocker isn’t just the best source for high-quality, branded gear from leading professional manufacturers. It’s also provides a really easy way to make some extra money for your team by explicitly selling items for the sake of fundraising. With the click of a button, SquadLocker makes fundraising for your team fast and easy!

How To Make Your SquadLocker Store Fundraiser-Ready

SquadLocker’s fundraising feature adds a predetermined percentage of markup to the existing price of your team gear. That markup is then designated as fundraising money and the profits are sent out as a separate check made out specifically to your team.

Activating the fundraising feature is simple!  All you have to do is:

  1. Go into your team store dashboard.

  2. Select “Fundraising” from the left-sidebar menu

  3. Change “Fundraising Enabled” to “Enable”

  4. Select a percentage from the pull-down menu

  5.

That’s it!  You can select markups of 5, 10, 15 or 20-percent. The store will then automatically add that amount to the listed price shown to all visitors. Everything else is handled by the system on your behalf without any extra effort!

Frequently Asked Questions About Fundraising Through SquadLocker

Are the fundraising dollars included in my normal payout?

No, they are processed and sent out as a separate check. This is to help your bookkeeping, since fundraising is intended to solely benefit the team.

When is the fundraising check mailed out?

The fundraising proceeds are processed and mailed at the end of the month following the close date of your store. In other words, if you have a “buying season” between March 1 – June 30, your fundraising check will be cut on July 31 and mailed out the next available postal day.

Can I receive ongoing month-to-month fundraiser checks?

No, they are tied to the close date of your store. This is necessary because we achieve our low prices on branded goods by sending out big bulk orders following the close date. Of course, keep in mind that you can reactivate your store at any time following the close date, even if it’s the very next day.

Are the fundraising checks taxed?

We do not withhold any taxes from the fundraising checks. Whether you will need to report and\or pay taxes on the fundraising money will vary depending on your state and city. If you intend to use the fundraising feature heavily, we strongly suggest contacting a licensed CPA in your area to learn about your local tax regulations.
